One more suggestion - There are rooftop bars at the Market Pavilion Hotel and at the Vendue Inn. Go at night for beautiful views of the city and there's usually a breeze off the ocean. Have a fabulous time!

Shopping on King Street, Patriot's Point, the beaches (my fav is Isle of Palms - Eat breakfast at the Seabiscuit Cafe if you go out there), the food (Don't know what your budget is but Halls Chophouse on King Street is the best steak in the city. Go to Jestine's Kitchen on Meeting Street for soul food.). A bit cheesy but take a carriage ride. They are fun and you hear about the history. Ghost tours at night are fun too since it's one of America's most haunted cities. You can also venture out to Fort Sumter, where the Civil War began. Enjoy!

yes I wanted to go to some of the plantations! I know I walked in that waterfront park or whatever it's called. the dogs would love that. lol. and we were planning on visiting a beach, I just don't know which one allows dogs. I really want my girl to experience it while we're out there

Oh, they're fun! There are also plantations within driving distance of Charleston if you're interested in that. You can also just walk the cobblestone streets (Find the world famous Rainbow Row and stroll the battery).

we actually talked about the carriage ride (one of my fave things to do. I've done it in bermuda😍😍😍) and the ghost tour since dogs are allowed there, I'm just terrified I'll get scared and my dog will sense it lol
