What would you do ?

Question

I had my second trimester urine and blood work diner yesterday.

I got a message from my doctor on my house phone saying to call him back, he has some results, and that it's not emergent.

I am obviously anxious!

Should I call the on call doctor or wait until Monday ?

You 'could' call & ask the on call Dr but they may not give them to you & tell you to wait until Monday. I would call & see but I'm impatient. Lol

It may be something minor they just want to talk to you about. In my case, my doctor wanted to tell me my triglycerides were just a tiny bit high. She told me not to stress and that since I've had physicals every year with normal levels it was most likely a side effect of pregnancy. She told me to go easy on the carbs and that they'd recheck them later in the pregnancy. I had an appointment in four days and she still called me to tell me all this.

Sometimes they call just to tell you the results are great, because of HIPPA I don't think they are allowed to leave the results on a voicemail in case ins a public phone/voicemail. The info is for you and not others so they have to be sure it's you they tell
