Sore throat what can i take?????

Question

So I woke up with a sore throat I figured it would go away during the day but I still have it and it seems like it's getting worst! What can I take to soothe it I had a cough drop but that didn't really help . I would have to wait till Monday to call my Dr if it doesn't go away on its own.....BTW I'm 26 weeks pregnant.

This winter my husband and I kept getting sore throats and I made a "tea" that was one piece of thinly sliced ginger, one thinly sliced lemon, and enough honey to cover them. I let it sit for a day(ish, depending on my level of patience). When you're ready for a cup, just mix a few spoonfuls with hot water. It's not as helpful as medicine, but it does help some and you don't have to worry about drinking it.

I've been told I can take that cloroseptic stuff that's made to numb a sore throat I got super sick around feb and had a super bad sore throat and I googled and also called my dr they said that was fine

Try gargling warm water with salt in it and put Vicks vapor rub on the bottoms of your feet when you go to bed, also a humidifier. I've also heard certain oils can help, other then going to the doctor you could try those remedies.

My doctor also told me I could take Emergen-C. I love the warm apple cider kind and it soothes a sore throat! He said I could have 2 packages a day!
