Can I get an STI from...?

I just gave my boyfriend a blow job, and he's never been tested. I'm afraid that there might be a possibility of him having and STI. I did not swallow any semen. What is the likelihood of me getting an STI if he has one?

P.S. He will be tested soon.

There is a possibility because there is sometimes precum. When me and my boyfriend started dating we have both started having STI symptoms within the the first few months. We both got checked and it turned out that I had a UTI ( urinary tract infection) and he had chlamydia. He found out first so obviously he thought I had given it to him because he hadn't had unprotected sex with anyone else except for me but when we found out I hadn't had it. We were both very confused. Turns out after talking to doctors and research he had got it from his ex from going down on her (oral). So yes it is very possible to get it via oral, but in saying that I was giving him head for a few months before we found out an I'm clean... So there is a chance you don't have it. Hope this helped.
