Hello! Just wondering if anyone has ever painted a "baby item" because they didn't like the color...and if so, was there a special type of paint that you used? A friend recently gave a baby swing to me that her baby is now too big for; but, it's brown and tan, and I prefer black and gray. I was thinking of painting it but I didn't know if I needed to look for any special type of paint (in case my baby puts his mouth on it once he's out of my body and mobile...don't want to poison my kid over swing color!) I plan on asking my doctor during my next appointment, but I don't see her until June 6. Thank you!
