News I didn't want to hear
So, I had a vaginal ultrasound and blood work done at the obgyn on Thursday. My uterus and ovaries looked healthy but the ultrasound showed that I didn't release an egg and my husband and I have been ttc since December. The blood work detected a normal LH levels and detected that I ovulated so my obgyn said that the pitituary is sending wrong signals to able me to ovulate. She said that for a chance of conceiving I need to take clomid. This upsets me because I just feel like I'm a failure as woman because my body doesn't work the way it's supposed to naturally...then there are thoughts of what if clomid doesn't work, then what? :/ I've always been opposed to taking medicine in order to conceive but now that this is reality, I'm considering it.
Does anyone have any advice? Success stories with clomid? Success stories of conceiving naturally even after doc tells you otherwise?
