Is there a difference in how fast the blood comes out?

I know this is confusing but if I were to wear a pad would the blood come out faster than wearing a tampon? So would one lead to a faster period I guess. Hard to explain.

I'm not sure about tampons/pads but I know a cup makes mine quicker, shortens it by 2 days! It's to do with the lack of chemicals unlike tampons and it just allows to blood to flow into the cup as opposed to being plugged up by a tampon.

There wouldn't be a difference when the blood comes out of your cervix instead of going all the way down your vagina it gets obsorbed into the tampon and when you wear a pad it just travels all the way down your vagina. Your body shreds the lining of your uterus at the same pace no matter what your wearing.

I think this is a bogus theory. I've used both and I haven't noticed a difference in the length of my periods. They've always been six days, every time.

I always felt like your period was faster if you used pads, but I hate them so much that I haven't  actually tested that theory. Lol!
