2.5 month old teething?

Question

I've read that it's possible but I'm not sure that's what it is. My son is drooling more than usual and keeps putting his hands in his mouth. I've tried a frozen wash cloth and a refrigerated teether, which he seemed to like for a few minutes but stops. Isn't he a bit young to start teething?

My guy is doing the exact same thing. Wants to chomp on my hands, dads hands or his own hands always. And plenty of drool.

My kid will currently lick and attempt to suck on anything near his mouth. My shirt, his shirt, the car seat strap,my face.....

Mine seems like she's chewing her fist off sometimes and she's 11 weeks. Was wondering the same, lol

Yes he's a bit young. My two month old has started drooling and chewing on my finger. I don't think she's teething... Maybe they're just starting to explore more? Their mouths are their best tools for exploration after all.

My twins are 2.5 months and are teething. They started at 2 months. It's not too soon. Some babies just teethe sooner than others

My son is only 6 weeks and I spotted teeth coming through at 5 weeks- doctor confirmed. They are also molers which don't usually come through for a long time. Some babies are even born with teeth!

Yep both my older kids had their first tooth by the time they hit the 3 month mark and my 9 week old is acting like she's teething...I swear I give birth to sharks!!!! 😂

I read that at 8 weeks their saliva glands develop. Probably not teething or pre teething, just drooling.
