Pads= impossible to stay clean?!

Question

When I wear pads I can't seem to stay clean!! I always wear tampons but I'm home all day today and figured it wouldnt hurt to wear pads and take a tampon break on this heavy day of mine. Well blood gets everywhere. I'm talking up my crack and everything.... How do you stay clean?!

This is going to sound really weird, but if you push the back part of your pad in your butt like a thong it helps. Specially if your going to be laying down a lot. You get use to it after a minute lol

Change every hour I buy the cheapest and I change every hour and I wear the ones like diapers and I use a two wipes every hours!!! Wired I know but I hate mess especially stinky blood and I can't use tampons

I hate pads and only use them at the tail end of my period when I'm really just spotting.
I'd say use baby wipes, that's what I do. :/
