TTC after getting off the depo shot.

I had my son Nov 11,2013. Eights weeks later I was in the shot till my last shot which was on Nov 17 2015.. I was supposed to go get my next shot on Feb 18 this year.. me and my husband have decided we are TTC and did not go get my shot.. I got my first period after 2 years, 3 months after I missed my shot... next period is supposed to be next week. Has anyone been through or going through this? Just want some insight.. so i know to keep my hope or move forward with life. Also if you conceived how long did it take?
