Holding baby between the legs

Mum of a one and a half year old just seeking some reassurance that how I'm holding baby is okay. I tried a new hold - which I see parents do all the time - by holding her through the legs (by the crotch) she's wearing a diaper. She seemed cool with it. I have anxiety and just wanna make sure other mums think it's safe and not harmful. I wanna keep trying new holds to overcome my anxiety. Picture for reference.
