Madela bottles vs Tommie Tippie???

Question

I thought I had made up my mind but seeing the nipples that Tommie Tippie has they just seem so much more naturally shaped than the Madela... Going to be using Madela pump but the TT bags can also attach to it directly. Any moms have experience with both. Please help! Need to finalize my decision before people start buying off my registry.

I had this same battle, I got all the TT stuff for my first but as a newborn the flow of the TT was so strong he would choke. As I had the Madela pump anyway, I switched to the Madela bottles for the beginning, once he was a bit older I switched back to the TT. It was the exact same story for both my boys...I switched back because I loved the TT bottles and already had the steriliser, also HATED the Madela ones with a passion, they had a million parts to them that were awkward to assemble and when ur babies throwing a fit no one wants that! Each baby is so different tho that u just never know, I would reccomend literally getting maybe one of each and seeing how u go, no point buying a whole pack of something u'll have to throw away...good luck!

Both my sisters used TT first and switched to Medela. They both preferred the pumps and nipples and babies seemed much more satisfied!

You can put a couple diff sets on the registry and a couple individual bottles matching the sets and just not open up the sets until you figure out which one baby works best with, then exchange the set you want use for the one you will!!:) that's my plan anyways..

I wouldn't suggest investing in any specific bottle....just one of a few for your baby to try. I bought playtex drop ins, Tommie tippie, and avent and my baby ended up only liking the MAM brand that I got for free from other mothers....i bought the whole set of drop ins cause those are the ones my daughter liked and it was a complete waist of money.
