Health insurance???

So I just found out I'm pregnant, about 5 wks, and I don't have health insurance. I live in Texas and me and my hubby make too much to get Medicaid. The issue is insurance is so expensive... Is anyone else freaking out about paying the doctor??? I need some advise, a few words of encouragement or something.

Are you eligible to get insurance through your husbands job, if not then you may qualify for discounts when signing up for obamacare at healthcare.gov. But you will have to pay full price if your eligible for insurance through work or husbands work. Have you tried appealing your rejected Medicaid application?

How did you get away with not having insurance? Didnt you have to pay a fee when you filed your taxes??

You can apply on healthcare.gov - just put that you and your husband make 30k combined and they'll give you a huge discount. You'll probably have to pay it back when you do your taxes but we usually get a refund anyway so we'd rather have it cheaper each month. Just a suggestion.
