My baby flatlined twice

Kassie • I'm Kass, me and my husband are expecting out firstborn son in May 2016. We love our little Nash Reagan Garcia 😘
I was 41 weeks, and his fluid was high so they scheduled an induction to make sure he would be born healthy. I went into my induction appointment on Thursday the 19th at 8:00am. The doctor checked me and I was dilated to a 1 and 80% thinned. She told me that she would start me on pitocin but just to warn me, my hips don't seem wide enough to deliver a baby vaginally. She said that we will try, and if it isn't working that they would have to do a c section. I was put on pitocin, and every 30 minutes they upped my dosage. I started at a level 2 on pitocin, and when enough hours went by of them upping me, he randomly flatlined on level 16. A team of doctors rushed in, put an internal monitor into his head, and gave me a shot to stop my contractions. His heart rate went up to 7.. Then eventually to 97, then back to a normal 158 after about 15 minutes. The reasoning for his flatline at that point was that the contractions were so close together and so intense that he had no recoup time between them. Also, his cord was smashed cutting off oxygen to him every time I contracted. I was hyperventilating, so they put me on oxygen and gave me time to calm down. When I was calm I demanded to see my doctor, because with my hips already seeming too narrow, I didn't feel it was worth the risk of losing my baby to keep trying for a natural delivery. I was informed that my doctor was in surgery with another patient, so a different doctor would be in to see me. When he got there I said that I wanted a c section to just get my baby out since he had flat lined and I already was being considered for one. He then checked me, told me I was dilated, and had me push for 4 hours straight, telling me that he prefers vaginal births. I pushed and wore myself out for four hours, my baby didn't move not even a centimeter. He then flatlined again.. The team was able to get his heart rate back. My whole family was screaming at this doctor, so he offered to use a vacuum on my baby. After another 2 hours of pushing with my baby unable to pass my hip bones, the vacuum eventually got him out. I will absolutely never deliver at that hospital again. I want 6 children, and am terrified to ever have another baby because of this experience.
