That first shower feels like the most amazing thing ever.  After all the hard work , sweating, and exhaustion...to feel clean again is wonderful.

I shower once my epidural is gone it's nice to feel nice and clean I do it while husband can stay with baby or when they were taken for hearing test or circumcision..I just like feeling clean and you will feel much better

When your ready to Hun! My birthing suite had a shower in it. I had one straight after I'd had some skin on skin and while hubby was having some skin on skin bonding time. 
I needed it! There was blood sweat and gunk everywhere 😂

I didn't shower till the day after.  My baby was born at 830pm and I hardly had energy to hold my baby.  Play it by ear.

Soon as my epidural wore off after c section, I was in the shower. Do it as soon as I feel capable.

I would say as soon as you feel able to. My daughter was born at 7:22pm and from complications I wasn't moved into my recovery room until after midnight so I showered in the morning the next day. If I had her in the morning I probably would have showered as soon as I could
