I think we're really lucky to have the NHS. I certainly wouldn't like to be without it.

I work for the nhs, I'm not pissed off with it, I think we are extremely lucky to have it. I can't stand it when people go in to A and E with something really silly then moan and whinge about the waiting times when there's people in a much worse state who are a priority.

I don't live in the uk, but it seems good, like the health system here in Canada.

I've had good, bad and downright terrible experiences with the NHS but for the most part is has been good. I've had to visit our local maternity triage twice - the first time felt very rushed but the second time the midwife was amazing and reassured me even though they were extremely busy. I've also had surgery in my knee and was made to feel like a piece of shit by the surgeon after it which was horrible as I felt extremely vulnerable and of course in pain. Apart from him staff have been nice.

I think it depends on who you deal with and how busy the department is and sadly you only hear the bad stories.
