So my husband has been away for military training since November, he just got home 5 days ago, starting in February I started visiting him one weekend a month, driving 8 hours each way, staying at hotels and paying for almost everything we did when I would visit... over 2500 dollars worth of trips because HE requested I come (I'm not the clingy type and personally would rather have saved all that money).... his birthday is next month and HE said all the money spent on travel, etc and me visiting him all counted as his birthday present... I also brought him over 1000 dollars in new clothes the first time I visited... am I a terrible wife for wanting to agree to that being his birthday present??
