Super Light Periods

I have super light periods, talking half day or less of bleeding. No doctors think it's an issue, but every acupuncturist I've seen does and they all want me to eat meat (as a life long vegetarian, this isn't an option). We've been trying for 14 months and all tests have come back normal. Anyone else have light periods and think it could be effecting their fertility?
