Will I don't have milk?

Question

I want so desperately to breastfeed and I know that the women that don't have milk are very little. But my mom and my aunt discouraged me. 
My Mon had me on 1993 and he had milk only for a few days
My aunt had two kids on  70s and had milk for only 2-3 months 
My grand grand mother breastfed her daughter but didn't have for her son.
They say they didn't do something wrong they just didn't have milk. Is this possible? May I have not have milk to nourish my baby?

Statistically only 2-4% of women are not able to nurse. 
Your supply has to be established by frequent nursing immediately after birth, your milk still won't come in until 2-5 days after, that's normal. and the first two months will probably be hard work for both of you, but if you can and want to push through them, get a lactation consultant and or contact your local la leche group to ask, if you have problems, and don't be discouraged by those who couldn't nurse because they didn't have anyone to help with advice, it's unlikely you won't succeed.

Back when your mom and aunt were trying to nurse their babies there really wasn't that much support or knowledge about breastfeeding at all.

Nowadays, it's not perfect of course, but if a new mom wants, she can have access to lactation consultants, support groups, online resources, etc. to get help with breastfeeding.

So try not to be discouraged! There's help out there if you need it, and just give it your best shot!

Oh it's not easy at least at first. It gets better as u do it more. Were built to make milk 😉 u can talk to lactation consultants and they can help and guide u as well.

Breast feeding is something u have to work at. Your milk will come in. U just have to keep at it. Women have been breastfeeding since the beginning of time and that's all they had before formula. Stay determined. U can do it !

It's very unlikely for you to be nursing on command and have your milk just randomly dry up. When your baby nurses, it tells your body to make more milk. Chances are, they probably weren't doing everything "right" to keep up their supply.

All you can do is feed your baby as much as possible and if you feel it's not enough then pump as much as you can. You can also get things like fenugreek. Sometimes it feels like you don't have enough milk when your baby goes through a growth spurt and constantly eats, but stick with it! Try your hardest and if you can't produce enough milk then you can supplement and breastfeed, use formula or get donor milk. Good luck ☺️
