I am a single mother to my son. Love him to pieces. I have been out of a relationship for a year now. I took the time to not have sex because I have been hurting myself for too long and I need to be able to be alone for a while to know how I can love me more. I think bits and pieces of me would like to just have a good person of the opposite sex around but I don’t feel I am completely ready for a male friend. Is this uncommon?
