Is this normal???

Question

I'm 25 weeks pregnant in the weeks before my baby was very very active and hard kicks as well and the past 4-5 days her activity has completely decreased..she will move very little and small nudges only I went into the ER last night and everything checked out just fine..I was just wondering if anyone else has
Gone thru this? 
P.S. I have tried all the tricks I know to get her to move n nothing seems to work 😕

To add a bit to these ladies comments I would say it depends too on the baby. My boy was super inactive, especially in his later months. My girl was ridiculous. She still is ridiculous. As long as there is some movement at times, I am sure all is well. Best wishes.

They go through periods where they sleep more sometimes. You should be getting about 10 movements every 2 hours. Whether that be nudges, kicks, rolls, ect. Usually drinking something cold and laying on your left side works the best. Sometimes I poke my belly gently and then wait. What I've noticed is that my baby is only active in the morning and the evening. I rarely feel anything throughout the day

I'm not a healthcare professional but I will say that there are definite stretches (a few days in a row) when my baby will be less active which typically is around a growth spurt. Usually I have growing/stretching pains, a bigger appetite or am more tired along with less fetal movements. It is worth checking with your doctor/midwife because they can do a complete evaluation. What does your mama gut tell you? If you are still worried despite the ER visit then it is ok to ask for more monitoring/evaluations. Moms are usually aware when things "just don't feel right"
