Wanting baby but scared I'll be a bad mom 😰 anyone else feel this way ?

My husband and I have been TTC since September 2015, I know I want to start a family .. But anytime I'm around babies or children , I feel like all awkward . I'm nervous to hold babies and am not around kids enough to know how to act around them . So it kind of makes me feel like I won't be a good mother :/

Anyone else have this fear ?

Anyone feel this way then have a baby and it's all different ?

From carrying the child in you for 9 months changes you so much , children don't come with instructions , I'm pregnant with #4 and I'm still learning :)

I felt exactly the same before I had my little girl and the entire time I was pregnant I was questioning myself. 3yrs down the line I still question myself and have times of wondering "am I doing it right?" But who holds the answer to that question? My daughter is happy, healthy and loved and that's all children truly need. There isn't an instruction manual for child rearing, and if there was it wouldn't work for all of us because people are different, we have different ways of doing things even if they get the same results. Believe in yourself and your abilities. If you need help, ask for it. And good luck.

I feel like this all the time because I'm not that social and I'm not sure how often I'd bring my kid around other kids.  When there's bad as kids in public I get annoyed. Sometimes I question if I can handle motherhood or if I'll be a good parent. Then sometimes I feel great about TTC because I see so many shitty parents around and think "I'll never treat my child like that". I guess we won't know until it happens. Like the lady said above parenthood doesn't come with instructions
