Progesterone suppository?!

Has anyone had to do these?? I have just started and it's out of my comfort zone so I wanted to know if anyone had any advice or side effects etc??

I use them during my tww post IUI for my second round now. I also have to use estradiol inserts so double the fun. I put it in right when I use the restroom before bed and am in squatting position over toilet then wash hands thoroughly (haha) and go lay in bed for them to absorb. I set alarm for 4 am and do same routine so it is dissolved before I start my day.

Progesterone directly relates to the implant ability of your uterus. The progesterone causes the lining of your uterus to increase, that's what you shed during your period. If the walls of your uterus are not thick enough, and egg can't implant. And if it does, you are likley to miscarry.

I'm taking them as well. They kind of make my joints and limbs hurt. I have light headaches but if it what I need I will keep taking them.

I used them for about 2 months and didn't mind for the end result. I would wear a pad nightly to prevent leakage. My levels were low but my doctor they're are proven to work through studies done. They didn't help me because I unfortunately miscarried.

Yes!!! I have used them every two week wait when doing fertility cycles and then for the first 12 weeks of my pregnancy (which h fortunately we lost at 12 weeks).

Massive tip (it's grose though). 
They are so grose and when putting them up the vjay they leak out 😩😩😩😳
Sooo, my dr said to put them up the back door. 
I was freaked out but literally just push it in there and it gets sucked up and absolutely no leakage. You don't have to lie around for half an hour. 
Apparently it's the same absorbant-wise...it still gets to where it needs to go.

I figured that if I was going to do this long term I'm going to make it as uncomfortable as possible!!

Do it at night right before you go to bed, doesn't leak as much and not as much discharge
