Anyone have really really bad heartburn?

I have the worstttt heartburn which I never had before getting pregnant and any type of tums don't seem to work at all! It gets really bad at night till around 8am. Anyone have any remedies they would like to share :) and if this is also bothering them?

I had had heart twice in my life prior to pregnant and now I get it everything I don't eat for a few hours. 
Last night at 3am I woke up because of how bad it was (really common for me) but it caused me to throw up because of it. Really gross and totally awful. But I did feel better afterwards lol that has happened to me 3 or 4 times now /: 
The only thing that works for me is eating. I don't understand it at all

Milk before bed has made mine worst. I've been talking Zantac and that seems to help, but it's every morning and every night for me. I haven't been waking up in the middle of the night with heartburn after taking Zantac. I take the 150, not the 75.

I figured out that, an Otc antacid (approved by my doctor) helps and if I don't lay down for about an hour after I eat something.

I had terrible heartburn and acid reflux and nothing worked for me. I finally figured out that grains and sugar would set it off so I just avoided those things for months.

Milk or water or tums..try not to drink to much sugary drinks before you go to bed its makes it worse

Zantac 150mg is safe to take while pregnant and you can buy it over the counter. My OB had me start that. Mine gets worse at night like you and it would cause me to puke. So I take it every night at 7 and rarely get heartburn and no more puking.

A friend of mine used bicarbonate with lemon and water not so tasty but she told me it is the inly thing that worked

My dr prescribed prilosec and I hardly ever have it anymore! Mine was pretty bad with all 4 pregnancies,  too....also, baking soda (sodium bicarbonate )mixed with water helps tremendously too....mylanta is a godsend and also helps with constipation, all have been approved by my dr. Heartburn is the devil! I hope one of these helps!

My doc gave me ranitidine when I was pregnant had heartburn so bad had to take it plus take tums helped alittle but where I had it so bad at night nothing would touch it but I would ask my doc about that bc it did help me alot
