I'm not generally confident at saying what I want- should I just come out and say these things? Should I ask in advance, or in the moment?

I'm usually really shy about telling my man what I want. What I do is get really playful with him and get us both really turned on and whisper it in his ear. It drives him crazy! He will do anything instantly;))
