I am currently 35+3 and have high blood pressure throughout my full pregnancy (drs think maybe I just have chronic hypertension that was previously undiagnosed). I was hospitalized over the weekend to get IV meds to get my BP under control and was prescribed an oral BP med to take daily going forward. They were originally planning to induce me around 38 weeks, but now are saying it will most likely be closer to 37 and they gave me 2 steroid injections to help develop baby girl's lungs incase they need to get her out sooner. Can anyone provide a similar experience with positive outcome/no NICU stay? We are hoping to keep her in until full term at 37 weeks, but I just need some encouragement incase they can't keep my BP down and need to get her out in the next week and a half.
