how long can babies use bassinets?

I'm just curious. we live in a very small apartment, and our room is already crowded and i don't know if we're going to be able to find a bigger place, before the baby comes. I was just wondering, how long can a baby use a bassinet before it has to use a crib? we really don't have the room for a crib right now, and I'm trying to see if I can put off buying it until we move to a bigger place. thanks in adbvance ♡

You can probably get a few months out of a bassinet. They also make mini cribs that are much smaller than large cribs you could look into something like that as well.

I read that once they can roll over then you can't use them any more. So that depends on your child.

Usually until they can sit up or pull themselves up to a crawling position. Probably around 3 or 4 months depending on the baby?

If you don't already have a bassinet,  consider a pack n play with a napper instead. My kids hated their bassinet, it was money wasted. I got much more use of the pack n play. You can do a mini crib too.
