Wrong for telling him to stop being passive??
If your SO was in a miserable situation (and complains about it 24/7) and they had a chance to voice their concerns and get into a much better situation at the possible expense of annoying others and making them compromise, and they REFUSED to do it, would it piss you off? All of this friends are getting what they want and trampling all over him, and he lets it happen just to keep the peace but then is miserable later. (The situation is a 7 person apartment, long story) It's like, you're so upset about your situation and now you have a chance to change it, but now your worried about what they'll think of you?? But then you're going to complain all the time to me later about how miserable it is?? I just don't know how to handle this. I just want to tell him "STOP BEIN SUCH A PUSHOVER AND COMMUNICATE WITH THEM- GET WHAT YOU WANT!!"
But I did that in the past and it made it worse. Advice??
