Stripped membranes - did it work?

Hey guys!  39 weeks today. Got my membranes swept today. Did it work for you?  Tell me your story!!

Yes!! Got mine stripped last Wednesday and doc got me from 1cm to a "tight" 3cm. Had some cramping, and lost the real deal mucous plug the following morning. I went for a 40 minute walk with my dog that afternoon, came home and took a seat on the couch where my water broke! It was awesome! I'm sure the walk REALLY helped, so try that after you get it done.

Had mine done Friday.. Lost my mucus plug but that's it.. Having it done again this Friday when I'll be 40 weeks and 1 day.

Got mine done today too. The doctor said I'm 1 cm but I've been like that since 36 weeks really hoping this helps!

Just got mine stripped today it hurt so bad I just got back from a long very hilly walk. Supper crampy right now . I'm 39 weeks and 5 days

Had mine swept on my due date (5/18) and went into labor later that day. Had my little one on 5/19. 👶🏽 Good Luck!!!!

Had mine stripped this passed Thursday. I went into the hospital Saturday night and my little guy Sunday morning.

Haha I was in "early labor" when I went to my 39w appt. My doctor stripped my membranes without me asking her to & I ended up having my baby 6 hours later. Labor intensified 10 fold after I walked out of her office. I didn't want my membranes stripped, but I was already in early labor anyway, so it just hurried things along, which I guess is better lol

Mine was done last Monday morning, I was already 5cm dilated. Had sex that night and immediately went into labor. 3hrs later my daughter was born (at 1:43am). This was my third child, but it went too fast for me. I literally got to the hospital and an hr later while still answering questions was ready to push.
