When is it the right time to let go!

Has any woman been in this place where they feel it's difficult to let go because you don't want to start over  r even be intimate with someone new so you stay in the same broken relationship unhappy? Any advice will be highly appreciated ! Thanks ladies

Well sweetheart my baby's father and I had been together for 5yrs off and on since we were 16/17. We just broke up in Jan. and I had the hardest time adjusting because I didn't want anyone else. I had given my all to him and only wanted us to get our shit together and get back to being together and moving on with our family. Well I had to realize that I wanted that ASAP and he was happy taking his time getting there..so I picked myself up over and over again and told myself to just focus on me and put myself first and stay away (as in strictly platonic relationship w/him). I say 'over and over again' because it's never easy letting go of someone you truly love or care about..but I found that as much as I cared for him I had to care for myself. Idk if you believe this but if things are meant to be then they will be, you sweetheart just have to let go and take that chance. Live your life out loud and don't think too much. Always be safe and put yourself first..if you can do that I believe you'll be just fine whether you're in a relationship or not.

I am on the same boat! I'm finding it useful to focus on his flaws as he always points out mine. I can see that all this time I've been making excuses for him, and he will never change. If you focus on the things you don't like about him, it will become less difficult to let go; definitely never easy though.

when you're unhappy for some time then its just time. youll end up cheating or something and thats worse

I am going through something similar. My now ex cheated on me and broke up with after we had been together for 6 years. He told me that he wasn't in love with me anymore. I try to keep busy and focus on my work and friends to keep my mind off of everything that went on. Hope this helps
