..."are you on your period?"

Does anyone else get a strong urge to slap their SO in the face when you're angry or emotional and they ask if you're about to get your period? Like, don't dismiss my emotions!!!! That's only ok when I say it!!!!

My daughter asked him if he was "on his period" last week.  It was priceless!  Then my little one came running in and said "omg, mommy" "I guess boys can have a period too. Daddy has his right now .  Should I give him one of these?" (Had a pad in her hand).  😂😂  I was done !

I've thrown a dish at my ex's head when he did this once. I had just found out he was cheating on me and just couldn't figure out why I was so mad and didn't believe any of his bs excuses 😂😂😂. Pity it missed.....

My husband would never say that, but I've known other guys who have and it pisses me off. I'm not at the mercy of my biology and my emotions are not invalid because I bleed from my vagina once a month. It's an incredibly obnoxious, condescending thing to ask.

My SO knows my cycle so no he would never ask, and I am upfront with him when I am cranky.

My father on the other hand, I want to punch. He says it all the time when I am mad. I'm like "No you dismissive idiot. I am mad not hormonal. Stop pulling crap and I won't get mad!"
