Do braces hurt ?

Only like a day or two after you get them on or tightened. Not gonna lie, the first two days hurt SO bad that I had to take some pain killers and drink smoothies. But it's worth it in the long run. I'd take a couple days of pain ever couple of months for a nice set of straight teeth.

It depends on your mouth structure, which can tell you if it will hurt or not. For me it hurts a little bit due to me missing a tooth. But besides that the only part that kind of hurts for everyone( at least I think everyone) is when you get your rubber bands on.

Mine were a little bit achy when they got adjusted and that, but all in all not a bad experience. Take paracetamol or ibuprofen half an hour before your appointments and regularly for the 24 hours following and you should manage just fine. I also found it easier to eat soup or soft foods when they first got adjusted to avoid putting extra pressure on my teeth

They suck ass. They're worth it in the long run but be prepared for soreness and kanker sores, and finding food in your braces. And please, for the love of God, wear your rubber bands. Everyday, all day. Brush your teeth like four times a day. Wear your retainer after ward. PLEASE
