I know it's nothing to be embarrassed or ashamed about but I don't think I could do it. I get so annoyed when my MIL looks, I can't imagine how I'd feel with total strangers looking. It should just be proper etiquette to not look... A quick glance fine but if you keep looking it's just rude.
