Are my cramps normal? Please help!!!

Okay so this morning I had the worse cramps I've ever had. I was on the toilet for thirty minutes and I felt completely nauseous. The pain was in my lower stomach area and I had a couple really sharp pains in my vagina. This lasted for about twohour until the pain relievers kicked in and even when they did I still felt uneasy. My cramps are usually very bad every single period, making me feel sick and in pain but I get used to it. Today on the other hand was just horrible. Is it normal to have such bad cramps every period? Especially like this?
