Can they give your baby vaccines without permission? What is the earliest vaccine or shot that the baby is suppose to have? Do they give baby shots soon after birth?

No they can't. And vitamin k isn't a vaccine. It's literally a vitamin that helps with clotting and bleeding. And you can get it orally. Hep b is the first typically given at birth and if you decline it they have to listen by law.

Idk about everyone else... but our vitamin k is in an eye drop form NOT a shot. They don't really tell you they're doing it or did it because it's not a vaccine and important for newborns to have. Heb B isn't offered to us till baby's first ped appointment.

No they can not . When you tell them you don't want any shots given to your child They have to listen. My daughter won't be getting vaccinated due to religious reasons so i would have to fill out a form I believe

No, they can't force it but where I live, if you decline the Hep B your baby gets comprehensive STD testing even if you're negative so it is easier to just do the Hep B shot.
