God is not good.
Why do WE sit down and thank God for this meal, while billions of others go hungry, but "God works in mysterious ways".
Why do WE thank God that our relative survived a brain tumor after treatment and medication, when millions of others died the same day of starvation and malnutrition?
Why do WE thank God for helping us get pregnant after in vitro fertilization, when thousands of children were abducted from their families and sold into military or sex slavery the very same day?
Why do WE, because we live in a wealthy country, thank GOD for all of the amazing things we have, when billions all over the world who aren't so fortunate wonder where their prayers go?
WHY is "God's will" and "God works in mysterious ways" an acceptable answer? Finally, WHY, if its HUMANS' fault that that world is the way it is, does it make sense to thank God for the things that we have or recieve? He can just give you the gift of pregnancy but he can't just give the gift of food or water to one single dying child?
