Glass. Bacteria can't penetrate. Yeah they're more expensive but they last forever. They're super super thick so breaking one really isn't an issue. I took one & tossed it down my hard wood floor hallway to test it out, both full & empty & it was perfectly fine. Personally, with plastic, if one happened to roll under my car seat or something, I feel like u would t get the funky smell of old milk totally out of the bottle, I'd just throw it away. But with glass, just toss it in the dishwasher & it's good as new.

Silicone sleeves you can buy if breakage worries you, lime if you have a baby who likes to throw their bottle. I have a sleeve on all of mine to protect them & it can stay on when washing

Glass. You will have to replace plastic ones from time to time, glass ones will last. They are much easier to clean and as others have mentioned, don't Harbor bacteria like the plastic ones. Glass is heavier and more expensive but cheaper in the long run.

Glass does not have chemicals, which is good for baby, and they now make them with a protective wrap so they won't break easily. Obviously, they're more expensive.

We use plastic bottles because they are lighter and there are more options (didn't know what nipple baby would prefer), but we store milk in glass jars, warm it in the glass, and then pour it in the bottle just before serving.
