Baby poop...

Hi all,. For those that have had their baby, does s/he cry and did every time they poop or pass gas? My little 3 week old girl will scream and cry until she goes. Like, scream. I used to think that it was normal but I don't know when it REALLY becomes a problem. If I nurse her, she will quiet down but nothing else works. I feel so bad for her :( everything else about her #2 seems to be normal... thoughts?
