Schedules for babies and kids?

Okay i know this can be a controversial topic as some people believe in putting kids on schedules and others dont but i came here for advice on how to do it and go about it because with my crazy life, i dont really have another option.  Here's what's going down: Im currently 40+1 so baby is due anytime.  Im entering my senior year of college mid August (graduating on time is my biggest goal in life, its really important to me and family) and hubby is considering BLET which also begins in August.  We both have to work full time jobs, 9-5,  theres not an option for one of us to stay at home or quit a job.  So we were discussing it and think if theres anyway to do it, putting baby on some kind of schedule is our best bet to making it all work without us being complete zombies.  Im going to look some things up on pinterest but what are your suggestions? I know right away that baby girl wont be on a schedule but i want to introduce her into one. Fingers crossed that we can both make it all work....
