Induction ???

Question

Hi ladies have any of you ever had a foley bulb placement inserted to help dilate and speed up labor ? Is it safe? My doctor wants me to get it done supposedly to help me dilate. Ugh don't know what to do

I was induced with the Foley bulb and pitocin and honestly it was amazing!! The bulb doesn't really hurt and you can still walk around and use the bathroom with it in. When it falls out your dilated to a 4 or 5 and then from there it's not long. I had my daughter on the 19th with this method and  wouldn't have done anything differently.
