Sex really soon in a relationship

I never had a relationship before and was saving myself for the right guy. I almost had sex with a good friend of mine at the time when I was 17 and I'm glad that I backed out of it. And that really put things in perspective. I met a guy from a new job that I got, and it was almost instantaneous from the moment I saw him that we had a connection. He is almost 5 years older than me but that didn't phase me. We went out a couple times, just as aquaintances to get to know each other. I actually told him I wasn't interested in having a boyfriend on our first outting because I wasn't looking for a relationship! About two months later I decided to make it official since we were acting like we were in a relationship. We ended up having sex two weeks into our official relationship. I know that's something that really isn't out of the ordinary for some people but to me it was kind of weird. I felt ready and already extremely comfortable with him so I went for it, even though I had never had sex before. I'm still with him now and it's been a year and a half and we live together. When I look back at it, it honestly makes me think how out of character that was of me haha oh well it worked out in the end ☺️
