Incomplete miscarriage

Feeling heartbroken. I found out that I was pregnant 4 days ago and am 5 weeks pregnant. We felt so lucky because we got pregnant our first month. Today I started to bleed bright red and spent the entire day at the hospital. The doctor said I am having what's called a incomplete miscarriage and that this is common for first time pregnancies. Can't stop crying.
