Weird Symptoms, f

So my last period was soooo weird...... It started 3daya early and was light and only lasted 3days. It was weird cause I had a little mucous discharge here and there....... To me, was different, but then to top it off when me and my BF was having a "Moment" both times it was tender and sore......... Should I take a Preg Test?!?!? Or is this a sign of something else??........,,, HELP with Advice
