Treating thrush/ yeast infections while TTC
Is it ok to use cream to treat thrush during the tww?
I have a mild yeast infection/ thrush/ candida. The only symptom is white clumpy discharge which I noticed last night, but I know it when I see it. I've had maybe 2 before, 5 & 10 years ago. No itch, no pain or discomfort or odour. Doctor swabbed me this morning - results in 4 or 5 days.
In the interim, on doctor's advice I've treated it with Canesten cream from the pharmacy before bed with a vaginal applicator (didn't push it too deeply). I have 2 more nights to go.
But ttc our 1st and I'm 4 dpo. Doctor thought it would be ok, but I'm curious what other ladies think?
