Is 5lbs 12oz big?

I am 35 weeks and just been for growth scan, there estimated weight was 5lbs 12oz. They said baby was big, even though the reason i went was because he was measuring small😒 i don't understand?

Those are simply estimates and are often not accurate. As long as they said baby is growing properly then he is doing fine. Definitely possible he is big though, no one knows until he is born!

Just left my growth scan an hour ago I'm 32w6d and our son is 5 lbs! We were doing the scans because of his cord placement.... Needless to say he has NO growth restrictions!

I go for another scan at 36 weeks I went at 32 weeks because my doctor said I'm small at my prenatal check up and made me feel very bad. he was 4.9 at my sonogram even though he looked bigger to me but she said I'm fine and doesn't know why the doctor said those things to me. There so confusing now a days

That's what mine was at the 33 week appointment. I'm at 34 weeks now and will have another scan at 36 weeks. My last baby was rather big so they are keeping an eye on this one
