Low HR109 at 6 weeks?

Question

Hi everyone,
I had my first US and was told I was 6 weeks 0 days (4.1mm) with a HR of 109.  The person doing the US said the HR is low (borderline bradycardia).  I haven't had any bleeding or cramping.
After being guttered, I'm now confused as most websites say that before 6.2 weeks anything over 100 is good?  My doctor said they go by the US report but would like the HR to be around 140.  I have a follow up US in two weeks.
Any insights most welcome!  It's my first pregnancy and two weeks seems so long!

Don't think that's low. Mine was 108 at 6 weeks. This is what I found online.

At exactly 6 weeks mine was 94 and they scared me half to death telling me it's too low. But what if it had just started?! I go Wednesday to find out more..

At almost 6 weeks mine was 102 - I had to hold my breath while she counted them on the scan. The bean was so little. She said at my next appointment we want it at 120 so I'm not going to stress for now.

I love this thread. Thank you all for sharing. I, too, was told my baby's HR was low at 7 weeks (113). I have been worrying ever since.

That's not low. The heart probably just started beating and all hearts have to start some where! I wouldn't listen to a tech, they aren't even supposed to make remarks on the findings because they aren't trained to. 103 is not low. 80 to 120 is considered normal between 6-7 weeks.

At six weeks HR was 113- now at 8 weeks HR is 173

At 6w4d my baby's heartbeat was 115 and they said that was perfectly normal for that stage.

Low HR109 at 6 weeks?
