My 2 month old baby boy had UTI and was hospitalised for 3 days. They gave him fluid and antibiotics through IV on scalp as they could not find correct nerve on his hands and leg.. It was so hard to see him on pain when they were placing IV on his head.. Did anyone experience the same? I wonder if its okay for baby in future? Doc assured me its same as any other body part IV. But i am scared as this is the first time i heard about scalp IV
