Can very loud dog barking harm baby?!

Question

So I was just at the vets with my lab, and was stuck waiting in a queue for around 10 minutes with two extremely loud, large barking dogs. The sound was piercing! I couldn't walk away because I was waiting to pay! It was so loud the floor was actually vibrating.
Now I'm freaking out that this constant, very loud noise may have harmed my unborn baby. I'm 26 weeks pregnant - please tell me it's my hormones winding me up?! :(

You're fine! It actually good for babies to be exposed to lots of sounds and noises while inutero because it won't startle them when they're babies.

The stress of you getting worked up over barking dogs is going to harm your baby. The barking will not. Stay calm.

It's muffled by your skin, your uterus and all the amniotic fluid. Imagine that bark under water. Not as bad right? It's okay :)
