Baby Monitors

What are your thoughts and/or recommendations? Has anyone used a breathing/movement monitor for baby? I don't wanna get a video monitor cause I live in a small one bedroom apartment so a video monitor I think will be a waste of money! But I kinda like the idea of a breathing/heart rate/movement monitor....I've heard of the Owlet but that's really expensive. So I looked around and this MonBaby monitor seems to be almost the same. What are your thoughts....?
