Who did/will you tell when?

I'm currently 8+4 😃 and visiting my folks next week, and I would love to tell them! My worry is that after my visit they are going on holiday for nearly a month, and my mum is a bit of a worrier! I don't want them worrying when they're supposed to be enjoying their holiday.

I was hoping for some advice/experience or hearing who you've told when, to help me decide!

Hi, I'm 7 weeks... We've told our parents and a couple of close friends. They were expecting it as we had IVF so it wouldn't have been possible to hide the outcome.

We also figured that the people closest to us would be the ones we told if God forbid anything went wrong in which case it was ok to tell certain people xx

We told our parents and siblings at 6 weeks. My father in law has terminal cancer and we wanted to give him another thing to aim for. I told my headteacher as well because he more or less had guessed. I've also told my best friend.

I think it's up to personal choice. I won't tell anyone else til my 12 week scan :)

thank you for getting back to me. I'm sorry to hear about your father in law, but it is lovely that he has this to look forward to. I'm indecisive on a good day, and am worried about something going wrong, but should get my head round enjoying it! Are you a teacher? I'm hoping the head teacher at work hasn't guessed yet!
